Nedson E. Lopes was a beautiful spirit who passed away at Rhode Island Hospital on Monday, September 27th, 2021.
Nedson was born in Santa Maria, Sal, Cape Verde and moved to Brockton, MA in 1987. He lived a happy childhood back in his home country, always dreamed of returning home to visit his friends and family he left behind.
Nedson attended Brockton High school and played soccer along with many other friends. He attended Massasoit Community College and Institute of Technology.
He moved to Rhode Island in his mid 20's and lived in Pawtucket. He is survived by his wife Marlene Lopes, daughter Shadya Lopes, step-son Marcelo Lopes, six siblings, many nieces, nephews, uncles and cousins from all over the world.
Nedson had a passion for cars, boats and music. He was a gifted person willing to help everyone at anytime. He leaves behind a legacy of true friendship, love, happiness and compassion. Nedson was truly loved by everyone around him!
Relative and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, Oct. 2nd in the Keefe funeral Home, Lincoln from 3pm-6pm. Burial will be private.
